The strategic objectives of our company, ORYX GTL, are summarised under three strategy themes of People, Plant and Profitability.
People:
At our company, people are our key asset and we prioritize supporting our people by focusing on morale, retention, and recruitment. Plant:
At ORYX GTL, we firmly believe in the importance of supporting the plant by strengthening the safety culture, ensuring plant stability, and providing an environmental focus. We understand that a strong safety culture is the foundation for a successful and productive plant environment. To achieve this, we prioritize regular safety trainings and workshops for all employees, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Additionally, we have implemented comprehensive safety protocols and procedures that are strictly adhered to at all times and in line with the applicable regulations.
To ensure plant stability, we have invested in high-technology equipment and technologies that enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity. Our dedicated team of technicians and engineers work diligently to keep the plant running smoothly, minimizing any disruptions to operations.
Furthermore, we have a strong environmental focus, understanding the importance of sustainable practices. To this end, our Treated Industrial Water is treated and used as irrigation in Ras Laffan Industrial City. We also participate in environmental programmes benefiting the Ras Laffan Industrial City communities. We have implemented various initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint, such as optimizing energy consumption and implementing recycling programs. We also actively seek ways to minimize waste production and explore environmentally friendly alternatives in our operations. By prioritizing safety, stability, and environmental consciousness, our company continuously strives to create a plant environment that is not only productive and efficient but also safe and sustainable for our employees and the surrounding community.

2- Specializations
Our company specializes in providing specialized support in operating Fischer-Tropsch technology to produce Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) products, specifically diesel and naphtha. We are very proud that ORYX GTL Plant is the first of its kind in the world to use proprietary technology to convert natural gas to liquid fuel. As a result, we have developed extensive expertise in this area and have the necessary infrastructure and capabilities to meet the market specifications and requirements of our customers. Our team of skilled professionals is well-versed in the intricacies of Fischer-Tropsch technology and possesses the knowledge and experience to optimize the production process.
We are committed to delivering GTL products that meet the highest quality standards and cater to the specific needs of our customers. By focusing on this specialization, we ensure that our customers receive the diesel and naphtha products they require, precisely tailored to their specifications. 3- Tasks
Our company is primarily engaged in the production of GTL products, specifically diesel and naphtha, with the aim of meeting the unique needs of our customers. We take pride in our ability to deliver high-quality products that adhere to market specifications and exceed customer expectations.
In addition to production, we also focus on strategy development and implementation. We understand the importance of aligning our strategies with the objectives outlined in Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV 2030). By doing so, we contribute to the overall progress and development of the State of Qatar, through adding value to the natural resources of the country, building expert human capital and ensure environment protect and contribute to the economy development. In addition, our strategy is designed to optimize value for both our shareholders and stakeholders. We believe in creating sustainable growth and long-term success, while also considering the interests of our shareholders, employees, and the wider community. By constantly evaluating and adjusting our strategies, we ensure that we remain agile and responsive to changing market dynamics.
